Mission and Vision
“Learn to do good; seek justice, correct oppression; defend the fatherless, plead for the widows.” (Isaiah1:17)
Second Chance Tandem encapsulates our mission: – to work together with the under-privileged, as a divine mandate to help in the restoration of widows, orphans and the needy to find a footing in the society.
In response to the mandate, Second Chance Tandem is working collaboratively with widows’ women groups, orphans, and the physically disabled persons and their respective families to identify and mitigate their various personal, societal, and environmental challenges. We empower them through bespoke local programmes and work collaboratively to enable them to experience the love of God through rehabilitation, restoration, and renewal of faith as means to a second chance in life.
We envision the world as a place where everyone has something to give to make a difference!
Where We Work
Second Chance Tandem is an unincorporated charitable association based in England, United Kingdom, and operates mainly in Kenya, and will work collaboratively in Tanzania and Cameroon. The operations are facilitated by two unpaid volunteer Managers, 2 local Coordinators in Siaya County, and the Leadership Teams of the respective Women Groups in the localities. We undertake these initiatives for the glory of God Almighty.
