Second Chance Tandem also support local family members with severe disabilities and long-term illness, such as dementia, to identify suitable interventions and Care Centres. The Care Centres undertake rehabilitation and management concerning the persons’ physical, emotional, and spiritual welfare. The programme aims to restore, improve, or maintain their ability to function in daily life, enhance the overall quality of life and independence which also frees affected families from the intensity of care. We work with Sigomere Small Home for Physically Challenged Children in Ugunja, Kenya to offer the robust services.
